This page outlines the rights, licenses, and restrictions for individuals who purchase or interact with our NFTs, as well as the intellectual property policies governing Afroragon's content.

1. Copyright and Intellectual Property

All digital artworks and content showcased on Afroragon are protected by copyright laws and remain the intellectual property of the original creators, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

• Creators' Rights: Artists retain the copyright and moral rights to their work unless a transfer of rights is explicitly stated.

• Afroragon's Rights: Afroragon reserves the right to showcase and promote all NFTs listed on our platform.

2. Rights Transferred to NFT Buyers

When you purchase an NFT showcased on Afroragon through OpenSea, you receive certain rights to use the associated digital asset. These rights include:

• Ownership Rights: Ownership of the NFT token is transferred to the buyer upon purchase, granting you the ability to resell, trade, or transfer the NFT.

• Commercial License: Buyers are granted the commercial right to use, reproduce, and display the associated digital asset for personal or business purposes, including marketing, merchandising, and promotional activities.

• Non-Exclusive Rights: These rights are non-exclusive, meaning the original creator retains the right to use and reproduce the digital asset.

3. Usage and Restrictions

While Afroragon grants specific rights to NFT buyers, certain restrictions apply to protect the integrity of the work and the creator's rights:

• Permitted Uses:

  • Buyers may share the artwork on social media, websites, or other platforms with proper attribution to the creator and Afroragon.

  • Buyers may use the artwork for commercial purposes, such as creating merchandise or marketing materials, unless otherwise restricted.

• Prohibited Uses:

  • Buyers cannot claim the work as their own or modify it in a way that misrepresents the creator's original intent.

  • Buyers cannot use the digital asset in a defamatory, discriminatory, or illegal manner.

4. Attribution Guidelines

If you share, display, or use an NFT from Afroragon for marketing or promotional purposes, we kindly request that you provide proper attribution to the creator and Afroragon. For example:

• Credit Format: "Artwork by Hanihakkam, showcased on Afroragon (afroragon.com)."
